Youth Strength Gains – BFR Beats Heavy Weights
The authors of this study compared parallel back squats for adolescents using low load BFR and comparing it to traditional weight lifting. They found greater strength gains in the youths using BFR.
They also point out that because there is reduced muscle damage, this may be a more tolerable form of strength training for youth.

What if I'm not exercising now?
